As an Instructor at Brock University, Desiree Veinot taught various courses, including Motion Capture, Immersion and Simulation, and Instructional Design fostering active learning through engaging lectures and assessments. Provided mentorships to students, collaborated with colleagues on curriculum enhancement, and contributed to academic research and scholarly activities, creating an environment of academic growth and excellence.
As a practicing artist, Desiree Veinot created artwork across various mediums for private sales and public installations. Her work has been featured in exhibitions and actively manages its business aspects. Collaborating with fellow artists and engaging in artistic communities fuels her inspiration, allowing for continuous skill development. Desiree is dedicated to ongoing self-improvement and enjoys sharing her creative process and the meaning behind her art with enthusiasts and patrons.

During Desiree's pursuit of a Bachelor of Visual Arts Honours degree, she concurrently practiced art in various mediums, such as painting, sculpture, and digital art.
